editing 15/12/09

We did editing on the film and edited the music, we have changed the music to go with the film timing and the genre of the film. We have done this by putting acoustics in because it is a sad film. We also edited the film by putting ghost in it, this is where we put two scenes on top of each other so you can see both of them, i think this gives it a good effect. We also have exsperimented with putting the texts in and will finish this thursday.

This is England opening

The opening of This is England shows scenes from the late 70's and early 80's in English history. this helps set the scene of the film because its all about skinheads and racism that happened in England. also the opening shows Margret Thatcher and Princess Dianne who were very important people in the 80's because it showed that women had more power than previous British history. another way of potraing the 80's was by showing all the violence and racism involving the skin heads. also there were scenes of the Falklands war which was a main factor in encouraging the violence. by val and josh 12ut

This is England opening credits

This is England opens with Ronald the rat who is a well known children's character from the late 70's, The next scene we see is with Margret thatcher in a builders hat in some kind of machinery, Margret thatcher was the prime minister in the late 70's - 80's so it sets the time for the film very clearly. It then comes up with very plain white and black old fashioned faded looking writing. by Yasmin erish
